Why We Built This Site

The Problem

If you've ever searched for custom screen printing, you know the experience: dozens of companies with nearly identical websites, vague pricing, and no way to compare them without requesting quotes from all of them. Review sites are scattered across Yelp, Google, Trustpilot, Sitejabber, and BBB — and none of them make it easy to compare two companies side by side on what actually matters.

We've spent years in the custom apparel industry — ordering for businesses, events, brands, and teams. We've used national platforms like Custom Ink and Vistaprint, high-volume online printers like RushOrderTees, and local shops across California. Some were great. Some were terrible. And there was no single place that laid out the differences clearly.

So we built one.

What We Do

Custom Apparel Reviews publishes honest, side-by-side comparisons of custom printing companies. We analyze publicly available review data from multiple platforms, research each company's capabilities and limitations, and present the results in a format that helps you make an informed decision.

Every comparison includes real customer feedback sourced from Yelp, Google Reviews, Trustpilot, Sitejabber, BBB, G2, and ConsumerAffairs. We don't cherry-pick quotes — we look for consistent patterns across platforms.

Our Methodology

We evaluate custom printing companies on five criteria:

• Customer reviews (40%) — Average rating and consistency across multiple review platforms. A company with 4.9 stars on Yelp and Google carries more weight than one with 4.5 on Trustpilot but 2.7 on Sitejabber.
• Print quality (25%) — Based on review feedback about durability, vibrancy, color accuracy, and consistency across orders.
• Range of services (15%) — Screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers, DTG, design support, and fulfillment capabilities.
• Turnaround reliability (10%) — Whether the company consistently meets stated timelines, based on customer reports.
• Value-added services (10%) — Warehouse storage, fulfillment, reorder systems, and ongoing support beyond one-time orders.

What We Don't Do

• We don't accept payment for reviews or rankings.
• We don't run ads for the companies we review.
• We don't use affiliate links with tracking commissions.
• We don't guarantee that our rankings will stay the same — companies change, and we update accordingly.
